When it comes to Nutrition in this busy world we are all just trying to keep up! With our lives becoming more and more busy with daily activities like work, school and children’s activities it's hard to get a balanced meal on the table every night. We all know that it's so much easier to go to one of these wonderful fast food joints that can have everyone fed in five minutes or less but all these places are offering is a momentary solution to hunger and nothing for our nutrition. If we are honest with ourselves we really don’t feel all that good after we eat it either. Now I'm not saying for one minute that I don’t enjoy pizza, and a burger every once in awhile but the key is to limit those things and at least put forth effort to eat a healthy meal.
My goal with this blog is to talk about one item per entry, which will range from food to pills. I have always felt that the answer to most of our problems is food. It has everything we need inside of it as long as we eat the right amount and the right kind of food. I have suffered from IBS and Anxiety and I plan to include how I am turning those things around. Am I cured….no but I am slowly getting better without drugs!
I plan to show what nutrients certain things have in it and how they help your body function. I will also have healthy recipes occasionally that will be easy to make and fast to help all of those working parents who are rushing to get dinner on the table every night.
